Wilkes-Barre Area Preschool
The Preschool program (for fully potty-trained children ages 3—5 with a ratio of children to staff of 10:1) includes a comprehensive center-based curriculum.
The centers include: Reading (and computers), Art, Math/Science, and Housekeeping. After a structured activity time, children choose a center and can move between centers if they wish - providing them with a feeling of control over their activities.

During the school year. the curriculum is based on the alphabet—with activities in reading, math, science and art designed around the letter of the week.
The summer curriculum is theme based, allowing the children to explore different topics through art, reading, math and science projects.
The computer center allows all preschoolers to use educational programs, building fine motor skills, listening and comprehension, problem solving and social skills while having fun.
Wilkes-Barre Area Kindergarten
The Kindergarten Program (ratio of 10:1) is for children who attend either full or half day kindergarten. Children who attend a half-day kindergarten spend the rest of the day (either morning or afternoon depending on their school schedule) at Curious Kids. Kindergarteners participate in an activity period and outside play time (weather permitting) as well as free play. Children on a full-day kindergarten schedule follow the school age program schedule.
Curious Kids also supervises homework for all kindergarten and school age children.
After School Program
The School Age Program (ratio of 12:1) allows parents or guardians a safe environment for their children to be before and after school. 
After school homework time is supervised and certified teachers are available to help as needed.
Half and full days off from school are filled with scheduled activities.
Summer Program
The Summer Program for kindergarten and school age children provides new opportunities for the children. Field trips are offered. Creative writing is encouraged through journals where the children can record their experiences.
The summer curriculum consists of units of study that revolve around a theme chosen at the beginning of the summer.
A computer center, in the school age room is used to enhance the curriculum using educational games and programs to complement the units of study.
Infant Daycare Program
The Infant program — for babies 6 weeks through 12 months old is kept at a 4:1 ratio of infants to staff.
Babies are assigned individual cribs and are held for their bottle. The babies are often held, and spend time on the floor during activity time.
Toddler Daycare Program
The Toddler Program, for children 1 to 3 years old, is kept at a maximum ratio of 5:1 (for 1-2 year olds) or 6:1 (for 2-3 year olds) of children to staff.
All toddlers participate in circle time where they learn name recognition and finger plays, listen to stories and sing songs.
The toddler program focuses on teaching self-help techniques and on manners. The children are encouraged to interact with each other and solve their problems using words.
